However, this PDF was chosen as it provides examples and considerations that teachers should consider before teaching First Nations students. In the stream of providing concrete examples for teachers to use and adapt in their own teaching, this does a fantastic job of providing an overview that incorporates First Nation viewpoints.

It is hoped that by looking at this document, one can glean enough information to create a more culturally repsonsible pedagogy towards addressing systemic inequalities in the traditional classroom.

The main purpose of including this website (and the charge for its creation) is to provide a comprehensive overview of the history of some of the marginalized identities, as well as looking into some of the obstacles that we as educators currently face and potentially can face as we modernize our curriculum documents. As one of the biggest challenges for pre-service teachers is recognizing some of the barriers that students have and therefore how we should re-examine our approaches, it is hoped that this website can provide enough of an overview to guide teachers in the appropriate direction.
